Really nice quality, larger than i expected and looks amazing

Both these dreadnoughts are brilliant......fair comments from some others re the slightly flat paint jobs, but overall these figures still fall on the right side of the line for me. CTC service was first rate as normal.

He's a beast

Great lookin dreadnought, this gold is awesome,I think better than the old gold tone. The size is big!

These are good figures which are sadly held back by lackluster paint-jobs. They have good articulation, are big, and very detailed. I also think they are sold at a good price point.

However, the low effort paint-job holds these figures back, especially at this scale. The pictures do not reflect how the paint looks in reality, as the paint (to me) seems quite flat. It is especially noticeable on the Contemptor-Galatus (with the sword) due to how monochrome everything is. The Achillus, at least, incorporates some black details.

Additionally, both figures arrived with the same scratches on the feet. This is a result of how the figure is packaged in the box itself (with the toes digging into the rest of the foot), which would be a Joytoy packaging issue.

Contemptor-Achillus: 4 stars
Contemptor-Galatus: 3 stars

Unless you are willing to repaint the Galatus and improve the paint-job, I do not recommend it.

These are amazing!!! The weapon are brilliant all the joints are nice strong detail is good and well worth the money I'm glad I added these to my collection.

Another great looking addition to my Joytoy collection. This Custodes Dreadnought really adds an extra level of detail over most Contemptor patterns available. Customer service from Cool Toys Club was excellent, as usual.

He's huge, have metal parts, Ankle joints might be a little to loose they make him tild so better watch out.
