one of the best named models so far

An all too often ignored faction the Tau are very interesting and this figure of Shadowsun does the Xenos species credit. It's a beautifully sculpted figure. I truly hope we get a Commander Farsight figure soon.

What can I say, its Commander Shadowsun, and its a T'au. While I love the God-Emperor and he comes first, I do quite like the T'au and I like their armour, so it was a no-brainer to get this figure. Shadowsun comes with a stand so if you want to pose him flying you can, but I think he looks pretty cool standing. While I normally have my Battle-Brothers with their helmets on, because if there is one, and really only one area, where the Warhammer 40k figures fall down its the Space Marine face sculpts, I found the T'au faces to look pretty damn good and I preferred Shadowsun showing his face. Overall yet another figure that I would recommend adding to your collection.

I have several of the Joytoy Mecha and a number of the Warhammer 40k figures. This in my opinion is the best figure they have produced. The figure comes with a ton of options for heads, hands, ect. All the joints seem right and allow for a great range of motion and poses. My only issue is that the base/flight stand doesn’t really support a high pose due to the weight of the figure, but it’s a tiny gripe about an amazing figure that I really enjoy.

I’m absolutely in love with the model. It’s nice to see a relatively high quality design model of action figure size for Tau that’s done in such a cool way with interchangeable components and being so dynamically posable.

All that said, I am pretty disappointed with the quality of the plastic used considering the price of it. This might be a JoyToy specific gripe, but after some light adjustments of the leg, the leg peg just kind of peeled off like it was being held together by glue previously. I fixed it, but I’m cautious now for sure. Like another review mentions, the helmetless head also came with a smaller opening so the neck peg would require some serious forcing onto or silicone oil to even use.

Beautiful figure, just held back a bit by the quality of the parts in my opinion. Would definitely still buy another in the future !

Commander Shadowsun is one of the neatest action figures from the Warhammer 40K universe. Like the Fire Warriors she’s heavy duty and stays however you position her, but the ability to have her on a flight stand just adds more character to her figure.

Great product, some of the bits are a tight fit but looks amazing on display. Also fast delivery to the uk

The toy is cool and all, but the quality is terrible. The elbow joints are these awfully thin pins that feels like they are going to snap at any minute, the wings on the jetpack come loose way too easy. I got mine with the helmetless head misshaped so it wouldnt fit on the neck, and when I told them about it they just said Fix it yourself .
It Looks pretty cool though. I say that much. But the thin poor quality makes it feel like a big bummer.

Shadowsun may be the finest collectable figure I have ever seen!!! The presence is un-real.
