An all round decent release for the black templars, with nice detailing and accessories. The pauldron insignia being raised is a nice touch and the belts, tabards and purity seals look great. The chains can be a little awkward to fit over the bigger weapons, but are flexible enough to do so. I feel like the templar colour scheme would massively benefit from some edge highlighting, but understand the extra workload this would require.

That said, there are some common issues. The chains have been washed heavily, which is fine, but as a result the chemical smell of each figure is quite pungent and it comes off when handled and my fingers ended up blackened noticebly from fitting them around weapons. The left side tasset plate with the purity seal on pops easily out of the socket and falls off, which happened with every single one of the eight marines I bought .Not a huge issue, but still annoying. And of course the usual 2.0 issue of the only hand accessory available to hold a bolter being an open palm, which just isn't as capable as the old hands.

Disappointed in these figures, Completely out of scale to all my other Marines these look massive when posed next to my other figures. the hands are Rock hard difficult to hold weapons.😐

There's also the problem where one figur has an extreme chemical stink to it, and sadly one of the swords arrived broken at the handle, in a state quite hard to fix with glue. However, i will probably get a replacement for that as CTC usually does.
