It's even better than I hoped! The figure came in good time and was very well packaged. The quality is as impressive as always, with only a few minor paint blemishes. I was worried that the red would be too bright and flat, but it looks fantastic in person! I look forward to ordering through CTC again!

These are definitely some of the more uniquely detailed space marines out of the WH40K JoyToy line. Lots of iconography specific to the IX Legion that will make any fan of the sons of Sanguinius proud. Recommend these two out of the 4 in the squad for sure but if you have the extra money for for all 4. By the Blood of Sanguinius!

Displayed here with First Born Heads, this command group is exceptional. The sculpts on the armor are wonderful and absolutely the most Blood Angel thing ever!! Cheers

Figure arrived quickly and without any damage to the box. There were no QC issues with him at all. He looks great and is a perfect addition to my Furiouso Dreadnought and BA Intercessor. He had a bit of smell to him when I opened him up, but it has since gone away. My son loves to use him in battle against the Black Legion and I must say the color scheme and his skirt look amazing. A worthy battle brother for the Emperor's service.

They came in perfectly packaged and undamaged. The new red coat on these Blood Angels is a lot brighter and much more striking. And there was no discoloration or wash inconsistency on this batch of figures. Also their new shoulder pad connection points are a lot more flexible and so they are much better at abduction then their previous 2.0 body brethren before them. My only thing is that strangely, my Sargent was made with the wrong base body and so I’ve been messaged and will be sent his actual chest and leg from the factory so no big deal. Overall they are beautiful figures and I highly recommend them if you like the Blood Angels.

A good figure with some neat details. That death mask face is cool looking and is definitely going to stand out on the shelf, even among other Blood Angels. However, there are a few nitpicks I have with this one. The black ribbed sections of the armor details are poorly and sloppily painted compared to most Joytoy figures, giving those parts a poorly detailed and messy look. Additionally, all the loin cloth tabards used in this set of four figure are exactly the same piece, painted exactly the same, and to top that off are a reused piece seen on previous Blood Angels figures. This along with the reused sword mean he doesn’t quite stand out as the unique or cool character I think he’s meant to be quite as much when displayed with others. Additionally, all the hands in this set of figures are very stiff and not very pliable plastic, meaning switching out hand sculpts risks breaking wrist pegs, or snapping off fingers unless great care or a little heat is applied before trying to swap anything out.

This one is sort of the stand out character of the set. He’s the only one of the new blood angels who comes with an alternate unmasked head sculpt, and he comes with the unique accessory of the chalice of blood. I like his over all torso sculpt as opposed to some of the others, as the black/gray ribbed details on some of the figures are not that precisely painted or highlighted, and that just looks messy. All of these new Blood Angels do look good on the shelf together but are a different shade or red than all their previous offerings. Again the new 2.0 marine bodies have good right joints and hold poses great with a better range of motion. However the hands seem to be made of a stiffer, less pliable plastic and present problems with switching out hands easily or not center holding weapons properly. Additionally his helmeted head and his unmasked head have differ sized neck pegs and the unhelmeted head doesn’t always fit or sit correctly on the figure. All in all a good figure from a good set but with some small issues that need to be addressed.

Of all the Blood Angels I like this and the guy with the chalice the best. I think it’s the abdomen piece, it’s sculpted and painted better than the black ribbed sections on some of the other ones. Also the backpack bling on this guys pretty neat looking and really stands out. As with the other in this 4 man set though, I found the plastic used for the hands different than all my other Joytoy marines. It’s a stiffer, less pliable plastic and makes switching out hands and the holding of weapons more difficult. I would suggest using the hot water method or you might risk breaking a wrist peg or a finger off the hand sculpts. Hopefully they will address this in any future figures
